Grub Control
Black Diamond Lawn Service offers season long grub control for your lawn. Merit® insect control is a granular product that is an effective preventative approach for controlling white grubs.
We apply Merit® from June 1st to August 1st to prevent damage from occurring to your lawn. Curative control measures are also available after August.

Ground Moles
The mounds and tunnels in the yard are caused by an animal called a mole. They are foraging creatures that feed on meaty substances such as earth worms and grubs.
Traps and poisonous baits are available at Black Diamond Nursery. Success with these devices are difficult to measure and often are met with limited results.
Black Diamond Lawn Service can apply a product that can rid the lawn of grubs (if present). By removing one of the food sources the hope is that the mole will move to other areas. There is no guarantee this treatment will work since the mole may remain and feed on earthworms. There is no control for earthworm; they are beneficial.
